Hey, I just pushed vbam-wx to [community]. Could you reupload this under the name vbam-wx-svn for consistency so I can merge them?

New source URL: svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/vbam/code/trunk

Please add armv7h to the list of supported architectures; Compiles and runs fine on a samsung chromebook.

That percentage would be the emulation speed. And, the only binaries this package installs are gvbam and vbam (as you can confirm by running pacman -Ql vba-m-gtk-svn). This also is /not/ VisualBoyAdvance, but a fork of it. VisualBoyAdvance was orphaned and dropped from the community repo a year or two ago.

Sorry if this sounds silly, but what is the percentage shown at the top when you run "vbam <somerom>.zip"? And how is one supposed to know that the command is vbam? I found it by sheer luck and the wiki says to type "VisualBoyAdvance <somerom>.zip". Please help.

This bug has been fixed in gtkmm 2.24.4.

@fosskers and sergioad: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=697835 <- turns out it's an upstream problem, so until this is fixed, we'll have to downgrade to 2.24.2

fosskers commented on 2013-06-14 09:28

This still doesn't seem to be fixed.
