grinko, confirm. After install i`m change /etc/profile.d/jre.sh to:
export JAVA_HOME=${JAVA_HOME:-/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk/jre}
export _JAVA_OPTIONS='-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=lcd -Dswing.aatext=true'
export JAVA_FONTS=/usr/share/fonts/TTF
Then logout/login and fonts are still corrupted, like in official package.

Compiled and installed this package with a working infinality setup, yet the fonts in IntelliJ IDEA are still corrupted, just like in the regular package.

Going back to 7.u60_2.5.0-2 (the last "official" build with infinality support enabled), fonts are as they should be again.

Can anyone else confirm?

I have created a new package with enabled infinality support. Please find it here https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/jre7-openjdk-headless-infinality/.

I do not want to update this package as the new package does not include fontfix patch.

Thanks trollixx!

I have noticed corrupted fonts, so I am going to update this package with one built with "--enable-infinality=yes". It should happen in the next 2-3 days.

RibShark commented on 2014-07-13 14:39

Java is now built without infinality fontfix support. Please update this package so that it is built with the support.

From https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/40871 :

It appears that the repo package has removed infinality support. :(

Seems "awt.useSystemAAFontSettings=lcd" won’t work anymore; only "on" will work.

Damn, the official package was working fine for me, but this week’s update broke the AA. Anyone having the same issue?

ilikenwf commented on 2014-06-18 02:05

The one in the repos broke fonts for me, at least in some applications.
