Current status: work in progress
* need to finish 'zabbix3-java-gateway' which is a stub
* FIXED: make depends on the exact 'zabbix3-common' version.

It refuses to build without net-snmp package, so I think it should be mentioned in dependencies

Hi bastelfreak,

I'm not sure about makechrootpkg but plain makepkg seems to work fine.

It might be related to the fact that this PKGBUILD uses some bash variables to build the depends array. Needs testing.

Hi, same applies to the packages net-snmp and libxml2

Hi,
I just tried to build the PKGUILB in a clean nspawn. There is a mysql lib missing:
checking for mysql_config... no
configure: error: MySQL library not found

@Simnol I have no idea.

@ArteS you are missing basic requirements of zabbix. The monitored hosts don't need the server packages and the dependencies they bring.

Is there an official announcement regarding development times for Z3? Can't see anything on the roadmap.

ArteS commented on 2016-01-17 09:42

I do not fully understand your proposal. And fully understood why you created the package Zabbix3, because as soon as he goes from alpha status with stable, Our packages are updated to Version 3 and incomprehensible destiny of your combined package Zabbix3.
