I currently rarely use my chromebook or keep up to date with upstream/xorg changes and haven't maintained this package in a long time so I just hope any new changes work.

The pkgver is based on the newest ppa release https://launchpad.net/~hugegreenbug/+archive/ubuntu/cmt2. There is no pkgver in the git repo. I don't necessarily know the best way to do the pkgver atm

You can't have md5 sums with a git repo as source.

If you want to send a pull request feel free however.

I'm new to Arch, and hence AUR. I using a Dell Chromebook 11, and have installed this (having first tried the non-git package, and face the xinput ABI compatibility issue).

I was surprised looking at the PKGBUILD here that a) it just checks out master, b) the pkgver is hard coded, and c) md5 sums are skipped.

Would it be better to download the ZIP of a particular git hash, and append part of that hash to the pkgver?
