cat /usr/share/applications/wickr-me.desktop
...
Exec=wickr-me
...
so, application link doesn't work
better rename the package to wickr-me, imho

also, it would be good to include binaries for i386 architecture

After last update it seems to be working for me. Thanks for keeping up to date on this actionless.

sorry but i have no idea what can be the reason,
try reporting it to wickr developers

rek769 commented on 2015-10-05 19:02

Terminal output is simply: Segmentation fault (core dumped)
strace output follows: (let me know if there is a better way to upload this and I will edit)

(REMOVED FOR SAKE OF BREVITY)

@rek769
can you please upload terminal output and strace?

rek769 commented on 2015-10-05 17:02

New Arch user here. Managed to build the package but upon execution I get a core dump error...thoughts apreciated.

anyway, waiting for tiss93's feedback

@actionless It's your PKGBUILD so do whatever you want ;) I just added the link to the download and the sha-code created with makepkg -g

@Airon90

IMO it's better to write it like

source_x86_64=(...)
source_i686=(...)

Airon90 commented on 2015-09-15 13:50

@actionless @tiss93

I adapted the PKGBUILD in order to add i386 support for Wickr.

http://pastebin.com/4AdZh67N

I can only compile the x86_64 beause I don't own a i386 PC so I can't test if the code works (it should).
Please @tiss93 test it before @actionless officially change the PKGBUILD
