@felix.s, thanks! Updated to 1.10-3.

Font cache updating is done via a pacman hook now. I think you can drop the install file and all the dependencies.

I no longer use this so disowning. Feel free to take it!

The source url http://pkgbuild.com/~alucryd/ttf-opensans-1.10.zip can not be downloaded any more. It says HTTP 404.

If you use the url http://ie.archive.ubuntu.com/ftp.frugalware.org/pub/frugalware/frugalware-current/source/xlib-extra/open-sans/ttf-opensans-1.10.zip for the source, it works fine.

Unflagged because I don't have any problem downloading the source. Please try again.

Sorry for not including Open Sans Condensed in the previous release.

@marcvangend: I've uploaded a new version. TTFs in this package are downloaded from Google Font Directory repository and repackaged as a tarball. It seems to have fixed the issue. Actually I've never noticed it, and thanks a lot for pointing it out.

I don't know exactly what's wrong, but I experienced a strange bug.

With this package installed, the Chromium browser could not display the light and semi-bold variants of the font when they appear in a web site imported from the Google Web Fonts service (http://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Open+Sans). The "light" font looked just like the "normal" weight, but with slightly stronger anti-aliasing. The "semi-bold" weight rendered more bold than "bold", almost like "extra bold".

Removing the package and rebooting solved the problem.

@jkcdarunday: The md5 of this file changes every time you download it. That's why I repackaged a tarball on my own server in the first time. :-P
