@fauno: So the unit will be created on make, sorry for that. Just checked my already installed one. The rc-file i doesn't care too, just wanted to notice.

Tarqi: this is the unit file in the package. i reckon i didn't care for the rc and the x86_64 packager removed it.

[Unit]
Description=strongSwan IPsec
After=syslog.target

[Service]
ExecStart=/usr/bin/ipsec start --nofork
StandardOutput=syslog

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

@fauno: This misses some changes in strongswan.rc and strongswan.service, i think.

pushed an updated pkgbuild here, feel free to use it :)

I haven't tried, but an '--sbindir=/usr/bin' in the configure statement of the PKGBUILD should do it. However, the systemd.service file which seems to be inside the source itself, needs to be fixed too, i believe. So some sed magic is requiered :)

Hello dkorzhevin,

Would you make changes to PKGBUILD according to this?
https://www.archlinux.org/news/binaries-move-to-usrbin-requiring-update-intervention/

Thanks a lot.

2 darie:

You can use libgmp (http://gmplib.org/) instead of openssl. I use libgmp on my server.

PKGBUILD refactored:

1. Changed "package()" section.
2. Add changelog. Now you can see changelog using command "pacman -Qc strongswan"

strongswan package updated to 5.0.4 security bugfix.
