Yes I have the same issue with SMPlayer running under gnome3 using wayland as display manager ... =(

Do you know a fix/workaround?

anyone else having issues under wayland, with mpv.

video window doesnt want to stay in smplayer...

You have to set the max. amplification in the audio options of smplayer on 100.

The volume option must be <= 100.000000: 101
