Don't forget to recompile this extension after updating to php 7.1.1.
Maybe bump the pkgrel to notify users ?

shtool at '/tmp/yaourt-tmp-***/aur-php-redis/src/redis-3.1.0/build/shtool' does not exist or is not executable.

Get a permission error. File exist, but has for some reason wrong permissions.

@CyberJack remove depends
@mrohnstock add platform

Could you add armv7h to arch? It builds fine here :).

CyberJack commented on 2016-11-22 13:23

Why does this packages depends on "redis"?

Redis can run on a different server (or in a docker container), and it is not needed to compile this extension.

3.0.0 only supports php7

grevus commented on 2016-07-03 09:21

Which version will be better? 2.2.8 or 3.0.0? What about compability?

For anyone too impatient to wait for a release from the php-redis folks (like me) I've uploaded php-redis-git, tracking the PHP7 branch (binary available at https://repo.celti.name/php-redis-git-2.2.7.r364.g3c048f1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz).
