Like that: http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/p/pdfedit/ ?

Seems that the package was removed from the Debian repositories, I'll try to find another version somewhere.

I meant at post_remove(). It does not remove the symlink, apparently.

hv15 commented on 2016-01-25 15:31

what do you mean by remove at post_install()? Its meant to create the symlink then, post_remove() is when the symlink is removed. I only downloaded this to do some quick pdf editing, i'm not interested in maintaining the package though...

It doesn't work correctly for me, the symlink is not remove at the post_install() stage. By the way hv15, would you be interested in maintaining the package? I don't use pdfedit anymore.

Fixed PKGBUILD: https://gist.github.com/hv15/65d814f81dc320a496db. Seems to be working correctly for me :)

Do you have a patched PKGBUILD?

hv15 commented on 2016-01-20 17:39

Hi there, noticed that text wasn't showing up in the pdf document - also got several errors at start regarding missing fonts. gsfonts installed correctly, but looking at https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/3733, its seems that the location of the fonts is hard-coded within the app, and on Archlinux points to the wrong directory. Doing a symbolic link from /usr/share/fonts/Type1 to /usr/share/ghostscript/fonts solved the problem. Maybe this can be added to the PKGBUILD?
