As said in the other package, it is a pacman feature you have to configure separately.

The pamac packages depend on xdelta3 to work with delta updates. Attempting an upgrade without xdelta3 installed results in an error stating that the binary patch failed.

There seems to be a bug:

Ppamac will use the AUR to search and install so that's fine...

But trying to reinstall a package from the AUR (right-clicking an installed package, choosing reinstall in the "details" window, Choosing to "Apply"...) will result in "source not found" error every time...

Reinstalling works with files from the official repos...

Any suggestion (or where to report?),
thx, p.

Apologies for not replying earlier!

The main package (pamac-aur) also in the AUR provides support for yaourt. This package is specifically made so that pacaur can be used instead of yaourt. There should be no reason to fallback to the other.

I have idea for your package - it can fallback to yaourt if no pacaur is installed. What do you think?

Updated, thanks for mailing me. Sailing right ahead of the official package, too :)
