Yes, it might have been makepkg, I'm not sure. I used an early version of import-to-aur4.sh which silently failed during push for a few packages, but those failures may have been related e.g. to disallowed characters in repo names.

Marcel_K commented on 2015-06-20 10:55

Are you sure about that? I think that must be makepkg that complained, as aurweb doesn't check a PKGBUILD at all.

Thanks for the updates, Marcel!

How strange that AUR4 did not complain about the missing package function during the initial git push. It did that with another PKGBUILD I migrated to AUR4.

Marcel_K commented on 2015-06-20 00:34

Indeed, it did work when a package function wasn't mandatory. I'll make several commits, so you can view the changes, and then push it to the repo.

I've made you a co-maintainer, Marcel.

I've just adopted this package from AUR3 and uploaded it to AUR4 as it was; haven't actually tested it recently. I have bergamo installed on my system though, so it must have worked in the past. :-)

Ah, I see, one has to download the files manually after registering.

There were other issues with your package, like missing double quotes around variables containing directory names, no package function, etc. I improved your files and uploaded them to https://gist.github.com/marcelkorpel/cb0aa9ea24b7d174586a

You can also (temporarily) make me co-maintainer, I'm happy to upload my changes to your repository.

BTW, install files should now only use fc-cache -s >/dev/null, so without the f flag.

Marcel_K commented on 2015-06-19 13:06

Upstream URL has been changed, is now http://fontsite.com/font-library/bergamo-pro/

Download link has been changed, too, but didn't check its new location.

Disowning because the font appears no longer to be distributed for free by the publisher. You can get their "Bergamo Pro" font in most weights and styles for free at the FontSite website, but it requires creating a login.

And shouldn't libotf be included as a dependency?
