Might want to add --enable-sidebar as option in the PKGBUILD (commented out). Since support for sidebar has been added in mutt-hg

Ok I've unflagged this. If you have any specific issues feel free to mention
them. But this is not the same package as the official arch mutt package, and
I'm not trying to sync or copy it.

Jonhoo commented on 2015-07-03 19:25

It's out of date in the sense that the dependency list, compilation flags, and included files (package()) are not synced with the upstream Arch package, and do not represent the current state of mutt upstream.

This is a source control based package. What is out of date about it?

Jonhoo commented on 2015-03-16 20:25

I've rewritten the PKGBUILD so that it is synchronized with Arch mutt PKGBUILD to simplify verification of the package if anyone is interested. Updated aurball here:, PKGBUILD here: (install file is same as for Arch mutt).

Here is a fix for the automake bug. Add this between "cd ${srcdir}/${_hgrepo}-build" and "./prepare ...".
# fix for automake 1.12
sed -i -e '/AM_C_PROTOTYPES/d'

If you're building packages from source you should install the base-devel group.
Any package in that group used for building shouldn't need to be specified in makedepends.
