Disowned; I don't use this anymore. Feel free to take over.

/usr/lib is preferable for configuration files?!

/etc files are not overwritten if put in the "backup" array, which is exactly what patroclo7 was pointing out.

My point was only that it would be preferable for the system files for the package to be in /usr/lib with overriding files in /etc (which the package would not touch).

All the best,

Just for the record HalosGhost's comment about the /etc file not being backed up is wrong; it should be put there and it should have been in "backup".

I have taken this package and marked etc/minirc.conf as a backup file.

No, what should actually happen is that the config shouldn't be placed in /etc by default. But, that's upstream's problem. I no longer have interest in this project so I'll be disowning this shortly.

All the best,

Oh, come on, the configuration file in /etc should be in backup! I had spent half an afternoon adjusting it in my needs and now I have lost it :(

Updated for setup script.
