@jsteel I don't know what an OVA is. My Arch AMI is built from scratch each time I create new images, and I'd be happy to share my process with you, but this isn't the place for it. Let's discuss over email: steven@uplinklabs.net

OK thanks, I'm interested to be able to create an image myself; I already have a handful of OVAs with specific setups but maybe I can re-do these as AMIs or provision them in some way. So do you create an AMI from scratch? If you have any info on being able to do that I'd like to give it a go so I'm aware of the process but rather than duplicating your work in the long-run, sure I'll probably end up using yours. Cheers!

@jsteel I'd recommend just running the AMI I build for it: https://www.uplinklabs.net/projects/arch-linux-on-ec2/

Hi, I'm trying to import an OVA to AWS, converting it to an AMI but I was getting the error "Unsupported kernel version linux". So I thought I'd try this but get the same/similar error "Unsupported kernel version linux-ec2". How do you go about getting Arch in AWS running this kernel? Thanks
