Builds fine again.

@deemde: Once again, I’ve you rebuild opendht and ring-daemon (in that order) first?

deemde commented on 2016-08-23 12:15

This fails to build with:
In void AccountModel::slotConnectivityChanged()«:
/tmp/makepkg/libringclient/src/ring-lrc/src/accountmodel.cpp:1079:38: Error: »class ConfigurationManagerInterface« has no member named »connectivityChanged«; did you mean »objectNameChanged«?

OK, seems fair. Does making sure everything works fine include clients?

zorun commented on 2016-03-31 21:42

Whenever upstream has a more sane release policy (that is, when the project has stabilised a bit more), why not. In the meantime, I prefer the current approach of bumping version from time to time after making sure everything works fine.

Regarding this package, why not use the release tarball? 1.0.0 has been released 15 days ago, and is available here (https://github.com/savoirfairelinux/ring-lrc/releases), probably somewhere on the official site too.

Edit: An was the linked commit too… So I guess you know about it. ;)

Sure, I've just updated the packages.

By the way, I have also introduced version dependencies between the various components (opendht, ring-daemon, libringclient, gnome client). This ensures that all packages get rebuilt when upgrading, because the API/ABI tends to change a lot.

Please yell if you think this is a horrible idea, or if it breaks something somewhere.

Hi zorun,

The ring-kde client currently cannot be built with the commits you've pinned in the libringclient-git and ring-daemon-git packages[1]. Can you please update these packages so they use upstream up to date versions?

Updated, it should build fine now.

Hmm, right, I had added a patch for Qt 5.5 but forgot to apply it...
