I'm still having issues building, same error as the others.

The following tests FAILED:
4 - connector_http (Failed)
8 - all (Failed)

I'm trying to build ethereum and this is a dependency.

Should be fixed now.

the patch is still listed under "source" and thus this package fails to build. please fix

I just tried to install this and ran into multiple problems, starting with the patch thing. Finally I am stumped here:

The following tests FAILED:
4 - connector_http (Failed)
8 - all (Failed)
Errors while running CTest
Makefile:61: recipe for target 'test' failed
make: *** [test] Error 8
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in check().
Aborting...

I am surprised this does not work since it seems to be a dependency for ethereum https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ethereum/ which has recently become quite newsworthy.

Thank you for the hint void09!

Please remove the gcc patch part from prepare(), the package now fails to build with it.

After the last update of libmicrohttpd, libjson-rpc-cpp-git need to be rebuilt (bumping the version number).

I would also like to drop this package.
I cannot reproduce your test failures.
I updated my arch to the most recent verisons and rebuild the package.

Could you try updating all your packages?

Is this package still required for building ethereum-git?
check() fails when building this package:
-----------------
63% tests passed, 3 tests failed out of 8

Total Test time (real) = 0.77 sec

The following tests FAILED:
4 - connector_http (Failed)
7 - integration (Failed)
8 - all (Failed)
Errors while running CTest
Makefile:61: recipe for target 'test' failed
make: *** [test] Error 8
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in check().
