I had to create a symlink from /etc/profil.d/ to /etc/profil.d/ So maybe it should also look for

No it is not working:

Is the problem the ./etc/profile.d/ ? Should not that be /etc/profile.d/ ?

change to JDK_HOME="${JAVA_HOME}"

I have now a problem with detecting jni.h:

checking for jni.h... no
configure: error: "Could not find jni.h"

But java is indeed installed:

$ locate jni.h
