If anyone else is running into download failures/timeout: Activestates servers are blocking various IP-ranges for "security reasons". So if you can't download try using a VPN.

@fusion809: Corrected. Thank you for your feedback.

@max-k I've noticed an error in the PKGBUILD that I'm surprised hasn't led to problems yet, line 37 and 38 you use the variable `${minor}` which is undefined, I think what you intended to use was `${_minor}`, which is defined.

Hi fusion809,
I tried to reinstall it today on my laptop and it works well.
It seems you have a common problem of invalid PYTHONPATH or PYTHONHOME variables.
Please check them before trying another build.

libjpeg-turbo provides libjpeg, however, it's proper now.
Thanks for your report.

idwaker commented on 2015-09-11 04:23

libjpeg package is missing from official repo, there is libjpeg-turbo instead.

(Or even updpkgsums, actually.)

spider-mario commented on 2015-06-27 14:27

makepkg now natively supports different sources for each architecture. Here is a patch: http://paste.awesom.eu/0cKN

It will make it easier for you to update the checksums (makepkg -g will work correctly).
