makedepends should list "bower" (which is in now in [community]).

The root cause of this error seems to be: https://github.com/bitpay/insight/issues/605

base58-native fails at the C compilation step, and I am passing --python=python2 to npm, so I don't know why this would be making a difference for you. In my environment, I was not able to make it past the build() step, which would explain why I never saw the `find` cmd throw an error. Thanks for pointing that out.

That also should be one line:
find . -mindepth 1 -maxdepth 1 -exec cp -dpr --no-preserve=ownership '{}' "$pkgdir/usr/share/insight" \;

It's missing at least those npm packages:
coffee-script grunt-legacy-util grunt-legacy-log dateformat eventemitter2 glob minimatch findup-sync js-yaml rimraf iconv-lite nopt grunt-lib-contrib gaze marked angular-gettext-tools uglify-js lodash highlight.js chalk async tiny-lr-fork clean-css
After installing the package still is not created:

Running "cssmin:css" (cssmin) task
Warning: undefined is not a function Used --force, continuing.

Done, but with warnings.

to workaround the problem compile with the following command:
PYTHON=python2 makepkg -s

This pkg doesn't currently build, because node-gyp fails to compile base58-native.
