It builds in a clean chroot and even with yaourt. Is your system up to date?

Seems the error is related to https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/49035
It's fixed in wxsqlite3 3.4.1-2

This package will not build.

thanks @mis. i updated the PKGBUILD. Currently i have no arch PC with me, therefore i cannot generate the .SRCINFO and test the build.

ps: i also pushed the repository to https://github.com/Strubbl/aur-guayadeque-git if somebody wants to submit pull requests.

Please add 'git' and 'gst-editing-services' to makedepends.
And 'gst-plugins-base-libs' to depends, that will also pull in needed gstreamer.

-- Checking for module 'gstreamer-1.0'
-- No package 'gstreamer-1.0' found

-- Checking for module 'gstreamer-tag-1.0'
-- No package 'gstreamer-tag-1.0' found

guayadeque-git E: Dependency gst-plugins-base-libs detected and not included (libraries ['usr/lib/libgsttag-1.0.so.0'] needed in files ['usr/bin/guayadeque'])

I think the optdepends should be changed to the gst-* versions. This is an updated PKGBUILD I used to build it. http://pastebin.com/9vZPZYZ7

I cannot reproduce your build error. My build says something like this around wxsqlite3:

-- Checking for module 'wxsqlite3'
-- No package 'wxsqlite3' found
wxsqlite3 pkg-config not found - manual search
wxsqlite3 manual search successful
-- Found Gettext: /usr/bin/msgmerge (found version "")
-- Configuring done

Hi strubbl,
I can not build it

-- * Using internal wxSqlite support
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:105 (MESSAGE):
wxSQLite3 not found on system!

but wxSQLite3 is installed

$ pacman -Ss wxSQLite3
community/wxsqlite3 3.4.0-1 [installed]
wxWidgets wrapper for SQLite3

Yes, of course. Thanks for the feedback. I have just changed PKGBUILD accordingly.

could you add provides=(${pkgname%-*}) and conflicts=(${pkgname%-*}) ?

I wanted to switch from guayadeque to guayadeque-git and didnt remove guayadeque beforehand, so the installation failed.

strubbl commented on 2016-05-30 20:27

@bmbaker so it works for you now? Your comment is confusing, cause it starts with "it works" and ends with "it fails".

I just tried by myself a rebuild. And i installed guayadeque-git 0.4.1.r1950.059f957-1 with success. It also starts and works as expected.

perfect :-) built and install and working with the 0001-use-cmake-lib-search-procedure-for-wxsqlite3-from-mu.patch. thanks :-)

I was also testing the build direct from
to see if it will build with no intervention, which it doesn't.
sorry if i confused you :-)
