Disowning: Not sure if this package is useful anymore

I think the python2-libgnome should be an optional dependency. Most people will want to use this package from the command line, probably not wanting to pull a lot of other python gnome libraries.

Should be fixed now. Thanks for reporting!

Exactly the same problem than roentgen, "no module named rpm". No solution at the moment, the module is hosted here : http://rpm.org/git/rpm-python.git/

Dell's entire Linux site is down right now, so the install will fail.

After 2.5 months...fixed :)

Maybe this should depend on python2-libgnome because running
$ ./inventory_firmware_gui
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "./inventory_firmware_gui", line 22, in <module>
import gnome.ui
ImportError: No module named gnome.ui

It requires some python rpm module which I can't seem to find. Any ideas?
