Thanks for feedback. I repacked all firefox extensions which I am maintainer.

Due to the bug https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/41071, libarchive, which makepkg uses, is broken for Firefox addons. As a result necessary files required for addon verification aren't extracted correctly. See my comments at https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/firefox-extension-ghostery/.

Someone else can take over maintainance. I'm no longer using system-wide extensions, as I had issues installing them.

Ah, now I see. Do you use some nice little script to check the API every now and then?

Marcel_K commented on 2015-09-18 19:03

AMO API? What does AMO stand for?

BTW, the extension page now uses the bare version number.

By the way, I'm just using whatever version the AMO API reports for KeeFox. :-)

Yeah, I'm just following the convention from keepass-plugin-rpc, which is maintained by someone else.

While the package version contains "signed", Firefox indicates that it cannot verify the plugin. If I install the plugin directly from https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/keefox/ (without using the aur package), firefox marks it as trusted.
