Currently an install section is not needed as this is started automatically on boot (already linked in timers.target.wants). Not sure about whether or not I want it that way, though... Comments?

Could you please fix the etckeeper.timer File and add an appropriate [Install] section like the following: (according to https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Systemd/cron_functionality)

When fixed, you can list available timers using:
systemctl list-timers --all

How may a "-git" package be out of date ?
