If you get an issue with Markdown.pl being not found, this is probably because it is not in your path (first time you install a vendor module).
Check this with

$ echo "$PATH"

You can either update your PATH temporarily, or simply relog to your user session: /etc/profile.d/perlbin.sh will add /usr/bin/vendor_perl if it exists.
