@ccl2of4

Thanks, these worked great for me.

Also I may be wrong but I think your GALE01.ini should actually be this

[Gecko_Enabled]
$Faster Melee Netplay Settings
$60FPS + 4X VRH
[Core]
HalfAudioRate = False
VideoRate = 4

Those are the settings I've been running with in order to successfully play Netplay

Edit: I see you used to have it like this and changed it to add Widescreen. I'm not sure if the widescreen setting works or not, haven't tried it myself

Hi.

I was having some issues/uncertainties with the Gecko codes installation. I did some research and think I figured out what's going on.

I believe you have a small error in your `faster-melee.install`. You wrote:

Make sure you install the GALE01.ini config file into:
${HOME}/.local/share/dolphin-emu/GameSettings/GALE01.ini

However, I think this is actually what it should say:

Make sure you install the GALE01.ini config file into:
${HOME}/.dolphin-emu/GameSettings/GALE01.ini

Please refer to this section of the README straight from dolphin-emu (upstream)

https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin#user-folder-structure

Also, as an alternative to copying the config files (GALE01.ini, etc.) over to that directory, I'd like to point out that users can perform the following actions in the GUI to achieve the same thing:

Right click Melee ISO -> properties -> Gecko Codes. Check "Faster Melee Netplay Settings" and "60FPS + 4X VRH", and unselect everything else.

Right click on Melee ISO -> properties -> GameConfig. Uncheck "Half Audio Rate". Click "Video Rate Hack" so it says "4x".

Either way, it would be nice if this part didn't have to be done manually but I'm not quite sure how to do that atm.

@Purplepanda

Here are my PKGBUILDs for installing multiple versions of dolphin side-by-side

Hello, thank you for the pkgbuild, but is there no way to have dolphin-emu-faster-melee, AND dolphin-emu-git-netplay?

Thanks.

Edit, I found the answer in the pkgbuild.

Edit Edit: holy grammar :(
