maxxcan, I guess you have the same problem that Moo had.

Você tem que obter a chave do site cryptocat e importá-lo. Olhe aqui:
https://crypto.cat/help.html#signatures

now I have problems with the gpg sign

Imposible comprobar la firma: No public key

I also see 2 executables (will try to investigate this..) but they are removed when I uninstall the package. Maybe your problem is related to previous installation, try uninstalling the package and manually removing all files in /opt/cryptocat/ then install again.

After installing cryptocat I get two executables in menu. One (cryptocat) and the other (/opt/cryptocat/Cryptocat). The latter after removal of package won't disappear from menu. Does this has something to do with PKGBUILD?

Got it installed. Thanks!

You can get the key (and follow the instructions) on Cryptocat website here https://crypto.cat/help.html#signatures.

Thanks for providing this package.
However it won't build with error:
"gpg: Signature made 2016 july 24 17:59:09 EEST using RSA key ID 8457F6238453F85F
gpg: Can't check signature: No public key"
