@Terence I have it in startup for Cinnamon. Seemed to be running, since Chrome at shutdown would crash. Wonder if running it through systemd would change the behavior on Cinnamon.

@zerophase Good you ask, the script is triggered when you click on the shutdown button and the confirmation prompt appears.

zerophase commented on 2016-08-31 17:19

@Terence Even, with PSD disabled I'm still having to restore Chrome after startup. How are you running the script at shutdown?

Terence commented on 2016-08-31 16:40

@zerophase It works for me with any number of windows opened so maybe it comes from psd; could you please try with the new version and with psd disabled?

zerophase commented on 2016-08-13 20:50

@Terence I'm running Chrome 52.0.2743.116-1, and using Profile-sync-daemon to store Chrome's profile in ram and sync it back to disk.

@zerophase Hmm this is weird could you please tell me which version of chrome you are using?

zerophase commented on 2016-08-13 07:55

@Terence Well, it only works for closing 2 Chrome Windows. I'm guessing you need a while loop to handle an unknown amount of open Chromes. Still getting the restore chrome dialog too, and Chrome extensions crash. (Think that might just be an incompatibility between gnome and cinnamon)

@zerophase Indentation should be fixed now, thanks for the feedback so far.

zerophase commented on 2016-08-12 17:09

@Terence just updated it. Looks like there might be a whitespace issue in chrome-shutdown-hook.

Terence commented on 2016-08-12 11:38

@zerophase sorry should be fixed when you use multiple windows now.
