Why isn't this built from source?

Manu343726 commented on 2015-04-21 10:06

It should work now, check the latest PKGBUILD

I have submitted an issue to the biicode main repo. Note that now you are able to run bii from sources, see

@toco The package is maintained here

Feel free to submit an issue on the topic if you like. Being frankly, I just didn't tested it with ARM 7.

I try to change

Doesn't work with armv7h B+

pkgdesc="Simple C/C++ file-based dependency manager"
arch=('armv7h' 'i686' 'x86_64' 'armv6h')

depends=('cmake>=3.0.2' 'zlib' 'glibc' 'sqlite' 'wget' 'python2-pmw')

declare -A _package_sums=(["i686"]="81172d06cac598bbcd74a9229e509c7d"

declare -A _package_prefix=(["i686"]="ubuntu-32"

I get this:

==> FEHLER: Fehler beim Download von bii-_2_6_3.deb
Breche ab...

@agauniyal Sorry for that, we were having issues when packaging one of our releases. The packaging sys was fixed and you have the latest biicode version (2.6.3) available. Thanks for your support.

agauniyal commented on 2015-02-12 10:28

Can't use , and this is bad ( if package is outdated , bii cpp:build dosen't even works and how am I supposed to work with that! )

portaloffreedom commented on 2014-11-06 21:13

@Manu343726 Good!
But still there are some fixes to be made:
1 - take away dpkg as a makedepend, as is not needed any more
2 - the biicode.install file is not needed any more. Actually the install file is breaking the package as changing the correct links to incorrect ones. (also the pre_remove is useless, or even dangerous)

@Portalofreedom thanks a lot for your comment. The package was fixed (There is no more dpkg at all) and its properly extracted and installed, so no root permissions are needed to make the package.
