Sounds like systemd-sysvcompat should add sysvinit to there provides-listing. If they cannot, I suggest manually changing the depending-listing (assuming you actually want to use systemd.)

Is there a particular reason this depends on sysvinit? "DEPENDENCIES" only mentions shutdown, which is available from systemd-sysvcompat, too.
