@gauteh

It seems astroid doesn't build against the new boost version 1.62.0-2. I get several errors trying to build it with it. If you want I can send you a makepkg log.

@idiotbox: should be fixed now!

Hi,

Hi, this should be fixed now: https://github.com/astroidmail/astroid/issues/182. Added the python-gobject makedep.

Getting the following error message on check function:

[info ] (12:36:31): poll: periodic polling disabled.
[info ] (12:36:31): ac: deinitializing.
terminate called without an active exception
unknown location(0): fatal error: in "Generic/setup_test": signal: SIGABRT (application abort requested)

Also, had to install python-gobject for the compilation, which was not listed as a dependency.

@vide: yes - added!

I had also to install gobject-introspection. Should this be a dependency?

Yes, the lack of an UTF-8 locale is because of the process of making a chroot with mkarchchroot. This installs a basic Arch system without any locale defined. I'll try to set up a chroot with a defined locale later.

As for the /tmp, I have no clue how to test this. If the tests normally write to a directory, it should work in a chroot as well. As in, there should be a /tmp directory.

I'll get back to you later after I run some tests. If there is still a problem, I'll open an issue on Github.
